We’d like to take this opportunity on our national day of Thanksgiving to say how grateful we are to all our wonderful family, friends, customers, and business associates. We love that our business is about workplace celebration at gThankYou! and we want you to know how much we appreciate all your business, support and great ideas. Thank you!
On this day of gratitude, let’s take a look at what our country’s leaders have said through the years about Thanksgiving and gratitude:
“…that with one heart and one voice the good people may express the grateful feelings of their hearts…” Samuel Adams November 1, 1777 – Congressional Thanksgiving Day Proclamation Continental Congress
“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” Thanksgiving Proclamation given by JFK, commemorating Veterans Day at Arlington National Cemetery on November 18, 1963.
“Let us remember that, as much has been given us, much will be expected from us, and that true homage comes from the heart as well as from the lips, and shows itself in deeds.” Thanksgiving Proclamation given by Theodore Roosevelt on November 2, 1901.
As a little way to say “Thank You,” we’ve compiled a short list of Thanksgiving Day reading, the newest books about Thanksgiving you may want to check out to make your holiday even more special:
